В 2000 возникла вражда между Эверластом и Эминемом. Эминем был разъярен строфой Эверласта «I’ll buck a 380 on ones who act Shady» с трека «Ear Drums Pop (Remix)» группы Dilated Peoples. В ответ, Эминем несколько раз публично оскорбил Эверласта и в песне «I Remember (Dedication To Whitey Ford)», выпущенной как би-сайд к 12" виниловому синглу группы D12 «Shit On You», высмеял рэп/рок стиль Эверласта. Затем, Эверласт записал трек «Whitey’s Revenge» и опубликовал его на своём официальном веб-сайте. Трек содержал слова «Better run and check your kid for your DNA», имея в виду дочь Эминема, Хэйли (англ. Hailie). Эминем ответил треком «Quitter» при участии его группы D12, в котором он угрожал убить Эверласта, если он ещё раз упомянет имя Хэйли. Впоследствии, Эверласт в нескольких интервью заявил, что считает, что всё уже было сказано, ему нечего добавить и он более не будет поднимать эту тему.

Grammy-winner Everlast has announced an August 27th release date for his new album, "The Life Acoustic", via his own label Martyr Inc. Records, in partnership with INgrooves. Everlast's latest project, "The Life Acoustic", is a sort of retrospective on the singer/songwriter's career, with a mixture of classic Everlast and House of Pain material all stripped down to their acoustic essence.

"I wanted to dig up some of the songs that I felt were gems, yet they didn't get enough of a look the first time; and maybe in this light, they'll shine," says Everlast. "I picked my favorite songs, and recorded them straight-up acoustic, maybe a little keyboard and that's it. There's part of me that thinks maybe this is what I'm supposed to be doing... I've done a couple of European tours acoustically now, and this just feels like the right time to put out an acoustic album."

The Valley Stream born rapper emerged as a member of Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate for his 1990 solo album, "Forever Everlasting", then formed the pioneering rap group House of Pain with friends DJ Lethal and Danny Boy. Signed to legendary dance and hip-hop label Tommy Boy Records, the group went multi-platinum with their self-titled 1992 debut which produced the legendary rap classic "Jump Around."

Everlast is a genre-bending veteran that has sold millions of records as both a solo artist and a member of two groups (House of Pain and La Coka Nostra.) He's won a Grammy and been nominated for two more. He also received an Emmy nomination for his work on the theme song for TNT's "Saving Grace". He's successfully reinvented himself as an artist, started his own label, amassed an impressive art collection, and continues to evolve as a prominent singer / songwriter.

Дядько повертається в хіп-хоп і робить це дуже непогано. Шукайте в мережі Everlast, Sick Jacken & Divine Styler - War Porn (краще, що чув з хіп-хопу за 2017). Тільки я так і не зрозумів це альбом чи мікстейп?

Ничего сверх естественного, но хорошо :up:
 
Порадовала что они в минусах использовали Aphrodite's Child, но совершенно не порадовало, что они к этому халтурно отнеслись - просто добавили бит и зачитали :down::down::down: я куда интересней встречал по-настоящему творчески любопытные переработки
 
хз, вроде и все ок, но после пары дней в плеере - удалил, надоел быстро. нету вайба:dontknow:
