Канадская пв-группа из Новоебенёво (Newfoundland). для любителей Инфест и Кроссед Аут. в туры выезжать нет возможности - сутки на собаках только до цивилизации. первое демо записали после двух репетиций. затем было второе демо, и, видимо, распались... очень круто, но очень мало

Severed Tongue are a hardcore band from Newfoundland, Canada stomping familiar ‘powerviolence’ territory. This demo manages not to bore as rather than sounding similar to one another, the songs all sound similar to other bands. A couple of moments on this demo reminded me that stereotypes exist for a reason, although I don’t know how much more I got out of it. Pretty derivative, as is the way with most bands playing this type of hardcore today (unfortunately!). The track “Raw” is cool and obviously Iron Lung-influenced. If you’ve not had your fill of raging fast/slow hardcore and really short demo tapes then you should check this band out. You could do a lot worse.
